Great service and polite people. However, their shop rates are very high and they charge by the book hours. Expect to pay a premium for anything other than an oil change.

Thanks Quentin for your review. You are correct, our rates do come directly from the industry standard technician labor time guide. We feel that using the labor guide is the only way to ensure every customer is charged the same fair rate. Technicians, like all skilled tradespeople, work at all different paces based on their experiences, training and habits. Customers shouldn't have to pay more due to a lesser experienced, less familiar (or less motivated) mechanic, who may take longer to complete the job, is doing their repair. We appreciate your comments and the opportunity to explain our practices.

I thought I needed an expensive repair. They did a thorough diagnostic evaluation and found I just needed some routine maintenance. This saved me a lot of money.

Thanks for the awesome review Andrew! Glad we were able help you out and save you some cash in the process!

I have a lot of comfort and trust with iMotion. They get things done right, communication is great, including an online assement of the problem and I can review it from work and has pictures. They will actually consult with customers to come up with the right decision for them. I appreciated Chris’ advance on the last repair. Thanks and I will be back!

Thanks for the great review Marvin, your trust is the highest compliment we could ask for!!

In short, they charge 5 times more than what is fair. I paid $190 for a tire patch, for tires to be balanced, and an inspection that I did not want or need. Long story - The employees are incredibly friendly. The store is nice and clean. Waiting room is not bad for a car place. They have free shuttle service and even car rentals for free if you have to wait a long time for your fix. However, they price gouge like no place i've ever been. I went in for a new wheel bearing. They charge $100 up front to test to see whats wrong, but they tell you literally everything that is wrong or will go wrong with your car soon. I'm familiar with my car and already knew all things to look out for. So this service was useless to me. I was assured that the cost would then go toward the repair so i didn't feel bad about the $100 assuming a new bearing would cost a bit more than that. Come to find out they charge $700 for a wheel bearing with a 5 year warranty. I drive a Pontiac. The most basic of basic cars. Forget that and the warrant. I can replace the bearing ten times over somewhere else for that price. Told them to just fix the small leak in my tire and balance the tires since it was due anyway. $190 later I'm very unhappy with everything overall. Just glad I'm aware of general pricing on parts and labor so that I didn't get screwed over. Hope to help others avoid this. I'm sure they fix things wonderfully and stand behind their work, but just about everywhere does that for a fraction of the price.

Shay, I appreciate the feedback about your service visit. Your vehicle was brought in with a noise in the front end. Many components make up the steering, suspension and braking systems. You are correct, we do charge for diagnostic testing and analysis, which with the technology in today’s vehicles is generally the hardest part of the repair, requiring technicians with the most training and experience and the most expensive diagnostic equipment. By doing thorough testing it allows us to make accurate recommendations and to guarantee those recommendations. If what we recommend doesn't repair your concern, you don't pay for it which eliminates hanging parts and the customer's endless out of pocket expense for trial and error repairs. You are also correct, along with any service we do perform a thorough free inspection of the vehicle. As the industry professional, it is our duty to inform you the condition your vehicle is in at the present time and any issues we see may be coming up in the near future. We want to give our customers all the options, up front, so an educated decision can be made on how to proceed or if to proceed with repairs. It wouldn’t be right to sell you a repair or maintenance service without informing you if we saw larger more expensive repairs were needed. As for pricing, we probably are more expensive than the friend you said would fix it cheaper. I would assume he or she doesn’t have the overhead of training and paying skilled technicians, purchasing equipment and warranting parts and labor, just to mention a few. I ran your repair on Repair Pal and the cost average for a wheel bearing, hub and ABS sensor for your vehicle in our area came up as $551 to $843 before taxes with at least a 1-year warranty. Some shops pricing and warranty will be more, some will be less but this is a published average. We also quoted you a wheel bearing with a one-year warranty for $437.12 before taxes. The $190 charged to you was for the $99.95 diagnostic fee, $20.00 for a tire repair and $64.95 for balancing and rotating 4 tires (this was done to the best of our abilities due to one of your rims was found to be bent), the digital inspection was done free of charge. All of these charges were authorized by you before any work was performed as is our standard procedure. Thank you again for the feedback and for giving inMOTION a try, sorry we weren’t a good fit for you. Should you like to discuss this further please contact me at 402-486-9880, Sherri

did a great job on oil change. I do indeed appreciate the full report on possible service needs for my car. nothing personal that I always get a 2nd opinion, plus the second guy actually gave me an estimate on what he felt was needed> not just said he would send me estimate,he gave me the estimate right on the spot. and the estimate was free. FYI: some of the work you guys told me of need for has been done at the place that gave me an estimate, they also did good, quality work bottom line: I would recommend in motion, just needs some improvement on a few matters, but good work.
